Hi! My name is Matthew Medina and I'm an advanced narrative and game designer. I've been in the game industry since 1992, starting out in QA before spending a significant number of years as a 3D artist and then settling into game design just over a decade ago. I've been playing and making games for my entire adult life, and I have no plans to stop now. My specialty as a designer is in story-telling and narrative implementation, but I also have experience in open world event design, level and environmental design and world building.
Outside of work, my interests run through all things "geeky" - I enjoy sci-fi, fantasy, drama and mystery through all forms of media such as comic books, novels, film and television. As a classically trained introvert, I spend much of my time at my home in Lynnwood, WA with my fiancee and my son. I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking and running, and relaxing at local parks and beaches.
